Due to its unique location, the sun shines here all day long and can still be seen long after it has set in Ortisei.

Holidays in nature

Situated between Ortisei in Val Gardena and Castelrotto with the Alpe di Siusi, you can reach several excursion destinations from our hotel by bike or on foot.
Every 25 minutes the bus departs from the bus stop directly in front of Hotel Scherlin and takes our guests to Ortisei or Castelrotto free of charge in less than 10 minutes. Just leave your car and enjoy a wonderfully serene holiday in nature.

A winter sports paradise

In Val Gardena, you are surrounded by a winter sports paradise that offers you the ideal conditions to enjoy the cold season with numerous lifts, a huge ski area and perfectly prepared cross-country ski trails.

The bus, which stops right in front of the hotel, takes you directly to the nearby ski areas of Val Gardena and Alpe di Siusi. During the season, you can comfortably try on your ski equipment at our partner rental shop and have it brought directly to the hotel.

From our hotel, you can set off on wonderful excursions to lush green mountain meadows, quiet forests and mountain peaks where you can enjoy magnificent views. Rent your e-bike directly at the hotel. From here, you can reach the Alpe di Siusi in 30 minutes.
